In this article it states that staff of a tour group in the Bahamas did little to nothing to aid the victim of a shark bite. OF COURSE, no one here is saying anyone should have jumped into the water to fend off sharks. Scene Safety and knowing one’s personal training and limits is the top of our list of steps in any emergency situation. However, once the scene was safe and the victim was secured, what would you have done? What steps could have been taken to aid the victim?
